ONBOARDING

Here are the steps you should take to get started and to be the best possible version of you

ONBOARDING OUR SYSTEMS

MAKING STRENGTH & CONDITIONING ACCESSIBLE

We know that learning new things can be a trialing experience. Here’s our recommendations based on what level you think you are and how to approach your first class.

So you’re new to Fuel or Strength and Conditioning in general. This isn’t a bootcamp or fitness class where every class is virtually the same. Every class is different, and not just in the exercises we do but the training stimulus and progression that we teach you to do properly. This takes time and it works for everyone. Here’s how we make that happen.

LEVEL 1: You don’t believe you’re ready for our Personal Trainer led Strength and Conditioning Class. OPTION: Fuel 101, our 1 on 1, 3 class intro program. Here, you’ll learn our fundamental movement patterns, the different equipment we have and build some work capacity. Find out more here.

LEVEL 2: You’ve worked out before but may be newish to Strength and Conditioning. Our Fuel Movement Progression System is designed to provide alternative ability matching movements for exercises not yet acquired. This is built into every workout including the objective of teaching you how to perform the movements properly. For conditioning, go at your own pace, we recommend starting at a “talk test” pace as in “at all points you should be able to form a sentence”. This will control your intensity while still allowing you to build work capacity and fitness.

LEVEL 3: You’re active and have experience with Strength and Conditioning principals. The biggest adjustment may just be learning how to we structure our classes and how we track workouts to measure your progress. See below for details on Wodup

TRACK YOUR PROGRESS. GET RESULTS

At Fuel, a huge part of our underlying philosophy on being better is to track your workouts “what gets measured gets managed”. This will help provide the best possible experience for you and result in faster and more sustainable results. It’s easy use, fun to engage and will help you be better.
