Just another adventure on Greg’s quest to master fitness. From playing in the Little League World series as a 12 year old, as an All-Canadian receiver at McGill University where he obtained his degree in Kinesiology, then drafted and played in the C.F.L., named one of Toronto’s top 10 trainers and now taking his extensive knowledge and experience to form Toronto’s most exclusive Training Club.
“Health is a lifestyle choice” say’s Hetherington, “It needs to fit into who you are”. This statement is evident as Fuel Training Club promotes a "work harder, train harder" mentality and is conveniently located in one of Toronto’s most affluent young professional neighbourhoods. “Training for life is a cliché, but even still, most people don’t do it. Who says you need to be a full time athlete to look and feel like one? We show you how to integrate fitness into your lifestyle.”
As a former national level soccer player and NCAA Division 1 scholarship athlete Jamie has had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of coaches and trainers over the years. It wasn't until she entered into the world of fitness as a trainer herself, that she "truly learned to appreciate strength training as a powerful and empowering entity of its own; not just the means to achieving something else".
With 6 years in the industry she has had the opportunity to work with some amazing professionals and accumulate a variety of certifications but it was her introduction to powerlifting that really narrowed her focus. Now, a former world record setting and current national record holding powerlifter in the 100% Raw federation, Jamie is passionate about the importance - both physically and mentally - of being STRONG. At 23 Jamie founded her personal training company Be Light, Lift Heavy and continuously strives to promote the idea that women can be strong, be healthy and look better than ever doing it!
Stronger. Healthier. Happier.

I believe in the power of exercise and nutrition to transform the lives of individuals around me. I grew up passionate about play, sports and food. Cue university I developed a long-term relationship with the treadmill and bought into popular diets of disordered eating. This left me feeling less than my best but without understanding why. Frustration pushed me to try two things in 2013; A 30 day diet challenge and group training with qualified coaches. Finding an empowering community in fitness was a life changing experience that provided me with physical, emotional and mental strength that translated to all aspects of my life. Now a qualified, knowledgeable trainer and certified nutritionist, I continuously seek learning opportunities to discover how human performance and daily life can be elevated though fitness & nutrition. As a Fuel trainer I look forward to helping you Be Better.
